Visit to Museum of London Docklands

Both Riverside and Westminster Cathedral Primary Schools visited the Museum of London Docklands today where they took part in a history workshop led by Peter Daniel and his father John, who was both a lighterman and docker on the Thames.

To see how much the children had learnt it was followed by a Who Wants to be a Millionaire quiz and a dockers song had to be quickly learnt and sung as a tie-break!

Emma Smailes, the Education Officer at the Museum, ran a hands-on session using the museum's galleries and specially selected items from the stores.
